Postage - All purchases from our Australian Gardener Store

  • All Australian seed orders are posted using Registered post, and as such must be signed for on receipt.

Orders that combine both seeds and plants are sent by Australia Posts' 'Parcel Post' service and therefore cannot be Registered. No signature is required for delivery unless the order total is greater than $60, in which case 'Extra Insurance' or 'Signature on Delivery' is added..

We will email you with the tracking number as soon as your order has been processed by Australia Post.

We post out Monday & Tuesday for plant and seed orders and Friday for seed orders only.

There is no minimum order, but the base postage charge is $7.50 which covers the freight and cost of Registering your article.

The cost of post and packaging goes up incrementally with the addition of some seeds or plants to your order.

Seeds are posted in clear, labled bags, with the plant name and bionomal in full display, so that any Customs inspection can be carried out without damage to the packageing. Your order is then posted in a padded post bag or box as is appropriate to the order.

Orders are posted on the same, or next day, as receipt of the order except where a purchase is made from Friday afternoon to Sunday. Those orders leave Monday.

PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR STATE OR COUNTRY GOVERNMENTS TO ENSURE THAT THE PLANTS THAT YOU MAY WISH TO PURCHASE ARE NOT CLASSIFIED AS WEEDS OR PROHIBITED IN ANY WAY.

We are aware of some restrictions and will not send seed, plant or plant material to those areas, but the legal situations are changing at such a rate that we must rely on you to do the responsible thing in your environment.
Unfortunately, when we do run out of a particular seed, we are out until next harvest.

  • We treat our gardens, at the appropriate time, with Biodynamic preparations only and fertilize with Comfrey and, twice a year, with a kelp based preparation.

  • There is no minimum order, but the base postage charge is $6.50 which covers the freight in most instances.

If you are purchasing large seed or your order includes over three packets of seed, it will be necessary to add extra postage (under the 'Extras' tab) to cover the postage as the size of the article goes up to 'Small Parcel'.

International Registration is possible for one or two seed packets and can be added by clicking the International Registration button (under the Extras tab).
